Swadi knight Rhodok sharp shooters Vaegir marksmen and Nord huscarl. Only one unit in my army it is Swadi knight for sure, except sieges. Heavy Calvary go to the Sarrinid mamlukes and the Swadian Knights. Archers go to the Vaegir Marksmen. Nord Huscarls are great for sieges.
The best throwing weapon in Bannerlord is the Jareed, a type of javelin used by Aserai skirmishers. It has the highest damage by far (120 piercing), the second-highest accuracy (92), and the best length (113) of any thrown weapon. Jareeds also have a stack count of 5, which is the highest amount you can take in a single slot, making it more
There are the javelin-throwing Imperial Legionaries, the relentless Mameluke Palace Guards, and the
The Rhodoks have the best anti-cavalry unit and are pretty decent in close combat. IMO they are slow, and are not meant for beserker-type assault the Nords are good at doing. But a line of Rhodok spearmen is a deadly trap against any frontal cavalry charge. The infantry of the other kingdoms range from poor to decent.
Every single Khergit soldier from Tier 2 comes with a horse. Swadian [] The Swadian Knights are arguably the single best cavalry unit in the game, sporting the heaviest armor, the heaviest horses and the longest lances while also wielding swords and shields for close combat, they are more or less unmatched in every single area of mounted combat.
Palantine Guard shoot faster, but do less damage. Sergeants shoot further, do more damage, and have sword and shield, which makes them good in melee, but shoot slower and have only half the ammunition of the Palatine Guard. I usually stock an even number of both, especially for garrisons. My usual garrison strength is 80 Legionaries, 35
ULTRA Jan 6, 2016 @ 11:31am. Lore-wise, the cossacks are supposed to have the strongest infantry, tho I'm not certain by the game. It might well be that the Polish or Swedish cavalry are the strongest overall, and by that I mean the faction units, not the mercenaries.
I don't really care much about the amount of arrows. If I'm doing a more melee focused person, I only need 20ish arrows before I'm in the thick of it. If I'm doing a ranged character, I'm using the higher damage output arrows (stacked bodkin) in the hopes that they actually do affect the damage output. But I also have 2 quivers.
